$1500 & $4000 BC Hydro Heat Pump Rebates
BC Hydro is currently offering rebates for ductless heat pump installations, up to $1,500 for a partial home system and up to $4,000 for a whole home system. Eligibility depends on your specific setup, contact us for a free estimate and we’ll walk you through what you qualify for.
RDN: $1000 Fossil Fuel to Heat Pump Rebate
The Regional District of Nanaimo offers a $1,000 rebate for switching from a natural gas, oil, or propane furnace to an electric heat pump. This rebate is available to RDN Electoral Area residents only, homeowners within Nanaimo, Parksville, Lantzville, and Qualicum Beach city limits don’t qualify for this specific program, but often qualify for other rebates like BC Hydro or CleanBC instead.Â
Up to $13,000 for Income Qualified Customers
Through the CleanBC Better Homes Energy Savings Program, income-qualified households converting from a gas, oil, or propane furnace to a heat pump can receive up to $13,000 in rebates. Eligibility is based on household income, size, and your property’s assessed value.
